Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Blend (with xanthan gum)
- 3 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 Egg White
- 1 tablespoon Everything Bagel Seasoning (for topping)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, parmesan cheese, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- 3
Add the olive oil and applesauce to the dry ingredients and mix until a crumbly mixture forms.
- 4
Gradually add the water, mixing until a dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky.
- 5
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
- 6
Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Brush the dough with the egg white and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of everything bagel seasoning.
- 7
Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into desired cracker shapes (squares, rectangles, or triangles).
- 8
Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the crackers to the baking sheet.
- 9
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
- 10
Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet before serving.
Tips & Notes
- •For extra crispy crackers, bake them a bit longer, but watch carefully to avoid burning. You can also prop the oven door open slightly during the last few minutes of baking.
- •Store the cooled crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
- •Feel free to experiment with different gluten-free flour blends. Some blends may require slightly more or less water.
