By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site

4. Recipe and Content Attribution

Some recipes and content on our Site may be adapted from or inspired by other sources. Where applicable, we provide attribution to original sources. Recipe facts (ingredients, measurements, cooking methods) are not copyrightable, but we create original descriptions, tips, and presentation.

5. User Content

If you submit content to our Site (such as comments or reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and display that content. You represent that you own or have the right to submit such content.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Subscription Plans

ReGluten offers free and paid subscription plans for the Gluten Scanner service. Free accounts are subject to daily scan limits. Paid "Pro" subscriptions provide increased scan limits and additional features as described on our Pricing page.

7.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Paddle.com ("Paddle"), which acts as our Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, your contract for payment is with Paddle, not directly with ReGluten. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, payment processing, tax collection, and compliance.

7.3 Billing and Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Paddle will charge the payment method on file for each renewal.

7.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

7.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refund requests are processed through Paddle.

7.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Price changes will apply at the start of your next billing period after the notice period.

7.7 Usage Limits

Each subscription tier has daily scan limits. Free accounts without sign-in are limited to 3 scans per day, free signed-in accounts to 8 scans per day, and Pro accounts to 50 scans per day. Limits reset at midnight UTC. We reserve the right to adjust these limits with notice.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

ReGluten participates in affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates. This means we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on our Site. This does not affect the price you pay.

Our editorial content is independent of our affiliate relationships. We only recommend products we believe will be genuinely helpful to our readers.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the terms and policies of any third-party sites you visit.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
