Ingredients
- 3 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Almond Flour
- 1 tablespoon Tapioca Starch
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, almond flour, tapioca starch, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 3
Add the egg and olive oil to the cheese mixture. Mix well until a dough forms.
- 4
Roll the dough between two pieces of parchment paper to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- 5
Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the dough into desired shapes (squares, rectangles, or triangles).
- 6
Carefully transfer the cut cheese crisps to the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small space between each crisp.
- 7
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 8
Remove from oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet before serving. The crisps will harden as they cool.
- 9
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Tips & Notes
- •For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture.
- •If the dough is too sticky to roll, chill it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes before rolling.
- •Watch the crisps carefully during baking, as they can burn easily. Adjust baking time as needed.
