Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cup Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Basil (chopped)

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.

Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, minced garlic, sugar, and half of the chopped basil to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.

Remove from oven and garnish with remaining fresh basil. Serve hot.
