Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons Melted butter or oil
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 batch DONUTS

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, applesauce, milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Transfer the batter to a piping bag or a large zip-top bag. Snip off the corner of the bag.

Pipe the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dip in your favorite glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
