Ingredients

  • 12 cups Air-popped popcorn
  • 1 cup Gluten-free semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt
  • 1/2 cup Gluten-free pretzels, crushed (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Sprinkles (gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. 1

Pop the popcorn using your preferred method (air popper recommended for best results). Remove any unpopped kernels.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine the popped popcorn and set aside.

  3. 3

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil.

  4. 4

Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

  5. 5

Stir in the butter, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder into the melted chocolate until well combined.

  6. 6

Pour the chocolate mixture over the popcorn. Immediately add crushed pretzels and marshmallows if using.

  7. 7

Gently toss the popcorn until it is evenly coated with the chocolate.

  8. 8

Spread the chocolate-covered popcorn in a single layer on parchment paper.

  9. 9

Sprinkle with sea salt and gluten-free sprinkles.

  10. 10

Let the chocolate popcorn set for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm. Break into pieces and serve.
