- 4 cups Water
- 1 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 medium Apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2-4 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Butter (or vegan butter)
- 1/4 cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup Raisins (optional)
